The Innbox U92 universal home gateway slashes costs significantly by allowing operators to use a single device regardless of broadband access technology, and at the same time simplifying the migration between WAN technologies even in one-box setups. The U92 supports multiple access technologies such as copper-based (VDSL2/ADSL2+, FE, GE), fiber-based via an SFP cage (GPON, P2P), or mobile via USB 3.0 (3G/LTE).
The Innbox U92 is a residential gateway (RG) that provides five Gigabit Ethernet ports, an SFP cage, a dual-band Wi-Fi® access point with concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz using 4×4 internal antennas, and a single FXS port for telephony services using an SIP-compatible voice over IP (VoIP) technology. Supporting 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6), with advancements in connectivity and security, the U92 unlocks unbeatable Wi-Fi service while providing the visibility and management operators require to provide assured gigabit services.
The U92 includes an EasyMesh™-compliant Wi-Fi controller that will unlock the true potential of gigabit connectivity by providing multi-gigabit wireless in even the largest of homes. Complemented by EasyMesh-compliant agent access points such as the Innbox M84, the wireless mesh ensures seamless roaming and smooth handover without service interruptions, never compromising supreme user experience (UX).
The device’s embedded NAT, firewall and IP sharing deliver secure Internet access to all connected users.
A USB 3.0 host port is available to enable value-added features such as a file server, local printer sharing, or WAN-failover with an external 3G/LTE modem.
