Lindsay Broadband offers Iskratel’s second generation 16-port, GPON OLT blade for SI3000 Lumia chassis. Designed with the latest generation of 100 Gbps network processors, a non-blocking architecture meets the rapidly evolving bandwidth demands on passive optical access networks. With two 20GE uplinks per blade with 1+1 control plane redundancy, these access blades already operate in disaggregated, flow-based mode for SDN readiness. Supporting the latest amendments to the G.984 standard and an intelligent OMCI, up to 1:128 split ratios are supported with B+, C+ or C++ SFP modules. Advanced network functionalities provide flexible options for residential, business and mobile backhauling with various network topologies.
The SPC blade supports flexible, 3-level hierarchical quality of service (QoS) that allows specific behavior with a high degree of granularity in traffic management at each policy level. Hierarchical policies can be applied and chained at the chassis-wide service level, the OLT port level, and the ONT/subscriber level. Traffic management techniques such as shaping, policing, classification, and re-marking are provided with simple configuration guides.
