RF Test/Validation Engineer

The following criteria represent skills that are required for this position (or equivalent, describe):

• Possess significant component and system level knowledge of RF, fiber optic and power fields as they apply to modern CATV and communications sectors
• Possess good knowledge and mastery of common RF/optical/power test and measurement tools
• Understand product documents and board level components
• Product performance evaluation and recommendations according to existing and developing standards
• Assist with test station setup and troubleshooting for production and quality assurance
• Assist with test training for production and quality assurance activities
• Work with team members to qualify, improve and innovate products
• Work with customers as required to support and troubleshoot products and systems
• Excellent organizational, time management and follow-up skills, with ability to multitask
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills
• Possess an “all hands-on deck” attitude, with the ability to communicate effectively internally and externally
• Team player who can build consensus and work cooperatively
• Self-starter who is capable of taking initiative to identify and resolve problems
