Position Summary:

This is a permanent position located in our Peterborough, ON manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

The following duties outline, but do not limit, the regular position requirements.  These may be revised from time to time as business conditions dictate, at the discretion of the Manager.

  • Assemble components based on assembly drawings, verbal instructions and schematics
  • Operate production hand tools and equipment (tweezers, cutters, soldering iron, and wire crimpers)
  • Soldering of components, pins and wires
  • Assemble small medium and large components
  • Apply epoxy/adhesive, heat shrink and route cables

Qualifications:

The following criteria are the minimum qualifications required for this position:

  • Must have previous experience working as an electrical assembler
  • Must have experience with working in a diverse and busy team environment
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and integrity
  • Experience and competence using various manual, electric and pneumatic hand tools
  • Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and blueprints
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Basic use of math and measuring devices
  • Good manual dexterity and clear visual ability
  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds requires standing, bending, and sitting on a frequent basis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in a team environment
  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
